How can I make cheaper calls to the access number?
The DialAbroad access numbers are priced as local land lines for the country you are in, so will be priced as a standard landline call by your phone provider. If you have a mobile contract with free calls/inclusive minutes to landlines then our number will likely be included in this package. How it works
Your purchase credit in advance from us online (think of it as a virtual calling card, but better quality).
- You just top up securely online using your credit card, debit card or PayPal.
- You receive a text back from us, confirming your purchase.
- You then dial the access number for the country you are in - call directly from your mobile or from any other phone (eg. a landline or payphone) using a PIN number. Calls are charged as a national call (so generally included as a free landline call if you have bundled minutes on your landline/mobile).
- You then enter the international number to call, including the 00 and international code, and we connect you, charging your DialAbroad credit at the quoted rate per minute.

Is this service suitable if I am roaming abroad?
No. You should only call our access numbers from a local phone. Eg. if you are using DialAbroad for making cheap international calls from Spain, then you should dial our local Spanish access number from a Spanish landline, mobile or payphone (not a UK mobile in Spain, as you will be charged international rates by your mobile network provider). You may find it cheap to purchase a local SIM card and use in your mobile.
